"13p.me" -- Another Way to Get Here
I like URL shortening services, especially when using them with Twitter. Bit.ly is my current favorite, but I also like the style and functionality provided by Ow.ly as well.  But there are a few times when I just want to feature the front page of my personal site or have a shortened link that refers to me directly. I’ve been using 13p as shorthand for this site since I moved away from my...

43 More Things
Hey!  My 43 More Things t-shirt arrived today! Inspired by the website 43things.com, I’ve been doing some list making (with the help of the iPhone apps ShoveBox & TapForms) like I did last year.  I just turned 43, and like last year when my lists were 42 items long, I’ve moved on to 43, like the site.

Adding Posts from My DSi
Exploring the feasibility of posting to my Tumblr blog from my DSi. It’s not really feasible. You can’t edit with the WYSIWYG UI. Instead, I have to use the HTML edit window. On the upside, I really like the typewriter sounds the keyboard makes and I was surprised to discover handwriting recognition.

Three Noteworthy Fortunes
Ordered Chinese food a few days ago and received three fortune cookies. The first I opened and ate while walking around our backyard, fretting over how fast the grass is growing.  I was surprised to find my fortune was… Spring has sprung. Life is blooming. The second I opened the next morning when I was feeling a little blue… Our life is the creation of our mind. And the arrival of...
