Arthur C. Clarke Dies at Age of 90
First, Gary Gygax, now Arthur C. Clarke. 2008 is not the greatest year for my teenage heros. Clarke was one of those amazing human beings, not just a writer of science fiction, but a man who lived to influence the world. This article, although short, is very comprehensive. I think I’ll go dig out my tattered paperback copy of Rendezvous with Rama and do a little reading.
