Write one leaf about wearing a hat.

For some reason I have become enamored with “beanies” over past year.  It all started with the 1up beanie I ordered from Think Geek last winter (as seen in the photo a few posts below).  I have never worn any type of stocking cap before, not even during the winter, preferring hoods or baseball caps.  But lately I find the cozy comfort of a stretchy cap much more inviting.  It has dawned on me that it might be genetic.  My father took to wearing a particular bright red (Philadelphia Phillies colored) knit cap sometime in his fifties and still does 30 years later.  But even stranger, I recently learned that his father’s nickname as a young man was “Beanie”, because of the beanie he always wore.  So I don’t think there was any avoiding it.  I was born to wear beanies.  I’m wearing one right now.
