I'm Glad Someone has the Answers
Except for a handful of episodes around the Pegasus story arc (which I really didn’t like), I have watched the modern version of Battlestar Galactica from the beginning. I never really took the “religious themes” very seriously and was rather surprised by the finale, which revealed that a higher power (“He doesn’t like to be called [God],” according to the Gaius Baltar angel.) had been the guiding force all along.
