Did I Really Run a Session @ eDemocracyCamp?

Democracy & Online Games: a Discussion

eDemocracyCamp, April 19th, 2009

On the drive down to eDemocracyCamp in Washington DC, I innocently tweeted that I would love to have a conversation about the role democracy has in online games and how some online games have been designed to focus on democracy.  This sorta led to me running a session, something I wasn’t really prepared for, but was certainly happy to do.  I’m not very knowledgeable on this topic — just very interested.

Honestly, after I saw the topics of the other sessions opposite mine, I started thinking about which one I would attend when no one showed up for mine.  But that was not the case at all and it turned out to be an interesting conversation.
